Synthesis and Characterization of 2-(1,6-Dibromo-2-naphthoxymethyl)-5-aryl-1,3,4-oxadiazoles

Abstract:1,6-Dibromo-2-naphthoxyacetyl hydrazine(2)reacted with aroyl chloride in the presence of Na_2CO_3 as acid acceptor to give N,N′-diacylhydrazines(4a～4h).Then 4a～4h were cyclized with POCl_3 to afford 2-(1,6-dibromo-2-naphthoxymethyl)-5-aryl-1,3,4-oxadiazoles(5a～5h).Their structures were characterized by elemental analyses,IR,(()~1HNMR) and MS.
