Abstract:Understanding the mechanism of supercritical CO2 extraction and then improving the extraction rate is our objective.In the full paper,we give full explanation of our research in some detail;in this abstract,we just add some pertinent remarks to listing the three topics of explanation.The first topic is: experimental research and its method of analysis.The second topic is: results and discussion.Its five subtopics are the effect of pressure on supercritical CO2 extraction(subtopic 2.1),the effect of temperature on supercritical CO2 extraction(subtopic 2.2),the effect of entrainer on supercritical CO2 extraction (subtopic2.3),the separation of solanesol from mixture(subtopic 2.4),and the analysis of the mechanism of supercritical CO2 extraction of solanesol(subtopic 2.5).We give Figs.1 and 2 and Table 1 showing the experimental results respectively of subtopics 2.1,2.2,and 2.3.In subtopic 2.5,we point out that the combination of solanesol with ethanol of entrainer forms hydrogen bond,which is conducive to freeing solanesol from being bound by tobacco substrate.As shown in Fig.3 in the full paper,the extraction process can be separated into two parts: surface extraction before approximately 45 min and deep extraction after.The third topic is: the optimization of supercritical CO2 extraction of solanesol.In topic 3,the optimized results are given in Tables 3 and 4 in the full paper;they show that pressure has the biggest effect,entrainer is next,and temperature has the least effect.The optimal parameters are 25 MPa,40℃ and 150 mL of 95% ethanol for 100 g of tobacco.Also in the third topic,a linear mathematical model has been established for predicting the optimum extraction rate.By utilizing the model,82.4% is the rate predicted while 81.5% is that obtained from our experiments.
