Abstract:N,N-dimethyloleamidepropylamine was synthesized with raw materials such as oleic acid,N,N-dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine at 155-165 ℃ for 10 h.Three oleic amidopropyl group betaine surfactants (Z)-3-(dimethyl (3-(octadec-9-enamido) propyl) ammonio)-2-hydroxypropane-1-sulfonate (OSHB),(Z)-3-(dimethyl(3-(octadec-9-enamido) propyl) ammonio) propane-1-sulfonate (ODAS) and (Z)-2-(dimethyl(3-(octadec-9-enamido) propyl) ammonio) acetate (ODAB) were prepared from N,N-dimethyloleamidepropylamine and 3-chloro-2-hydroxy-propane sulfonic acid sodium,1,3-propane sultone,sodium chloroacetate respectively.The yields of the three products OSHB,ODAS,ODAB were 90％0,90％,70％ respectively.The chemical structures of OSHB,ODAS,ODAB were characterized by 1H NMR.Their surface activity was examined at 25 ℃,and the effect of head group on surface activity was discussed.The results showed that The critical micelle concentrations(cmc) of ODAB、ODAS and OSHB were 4.1 × 10-2,2.4 × 10-2,2.1 × 10-2 mM at 25 ℃,the surface tensions on the cmc(γcMc) being 32.9,35.1,34.6 mN/m,CMC/C20 being 186.4,47.1,55.3 respectively.ODAB had the biggest CMC/C20,showing that the molecule of ODAB had a trend of adsorption on the surface of aqueous solution.ODAS and OSHB had similarity surface activity parameters,showing that being introduced by hydroxyl didn't improve the surface activity of the surfactant apparently.
