Abstract:This paper gives a brief introduction of the electrochemistry of charge transfer across liquid/liquid interfaces. The recent advances of ion, facilitated ion and electron transfer processes are reviewed. The application of various novel techniques in the study of charge transfer across liquid/liquid interfaces is summarized and the prospectus is also given.
