The Cdna-Aflp Technique and Its Application in Plants

Abstract:A method of AFLP_based fingerprinting of mRNA named cDNA_AFLP was developed in recent years. In the present paper, the principle, procedure, advantages and defects of this technique were described. Because of its high reproducibility, accuracy and reliability, this technique is widely applied in plant research, for instance, analyzing differential expression, mapping of genetic loci and identifying genes. Its prospect was also discussed.
