Abstract:The essence of educational idea of of "taking the students as the center"is to realize the transformation from "teaching"to"learning".Botany is a fundamental discipline of practical and comprehensive,it should play an important role in the development of comprehensive quality and innovation ability of the student.In the teaching practice of Botany,besides emphasizing knowledge points, we construct a new teaching system of botany course based on educational idea of "taking the students as the center"from the aspects of teaching content,teaching methods,and examination system reform.The students′comprehensive ability,especially the cultivation of innovative consciousness and ability,and the teaching effect has been improved significantly.
