Abstract:We describe a new species, Blattisocius trifuricpilus sp. nov ., collected from polypore fungi on dead trees from Mengla County, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, China. The new species can be distinguished from other species of the genus by the presence of 36 pairs of setae on the dorsal shield, of which 20 pairs of setae (j1, j3, z3, z4, z6, s3-s6, r3, Z1-Z5, S1-S5 ) are relatively stout and trifurcate, opisthogastric setae JV5 relatively stout and trifurcate, and the peritreme reaching anteriorly to level of j2 . Abstract:Eighteen species of the genus Macropes Motschulsky from China are treated in the paper, in which M. varipennis (Walker, 1872) and M. dilutus Distant, 1901 are newly recorded from China; M. bambusiphilus Zheng & Zou, 1982 and M. slateri Zheng & Wang, 1987 are treated as new junior synonymies of M. robustus Zheng & Zou, 1982; three of them, M. complanus sp. nov., M. testaceus sp. nov., and M. peculiaris sp. nov., are described as new to science. Photographs of all eighteen species and drawings of genitalia of new species and newly recorded species from China are illustrated, along with those modified parts of the key to the World species of Macropes in Slater (1979). The type specimens of the new species are deposited in the Institute of Entomology, College of Life Sciences, Nankai University, Tianjin, China.

Abstract:The species of six genera (Atanycolus Foerster, Craspedolcus Enderlein, Ectemnoplax Enderlein, Shelfordia Cameron, Stenobracon Szepligeti and Vipio Latreille) of the subfamily Braconinae (Hymenoptera, Braconidae) from China are revised and 29 species are recognized, including 11 new species (Atanycolus carinatus sp. nov., A. longiquus sp. nov., A. maculipennis sp. nov., A. setosus sp. nov., Craspedolcus maculithorax sp. nov., C. nigrabdominalis sp. nov., Ectemnoplax bimaculosus sp. nov., Shelfordia fulva sp. nov., S. obscuripennis sp. nov., Stenobracon (Stenobracon) longatus sp. nov. and Vipio abnormis sp. nov.), which are described and illustrated. Ectemnoplax xizanginensis Wang, Chen et He, 2006, is proposed as a syn. nov. of E. peruliventris Enderlein, 1920. Two species, Shelfordia longicaudata van Achterberg, 1993, and Vipio mongolicus Telenga, 1936, are reported from China for the first time. Keys to the Chinese species of the genera Atanycolus, Craspedolcus, Ectemnoplax, Shelfordia, Stenobracon and vipio are provided.

Abstract:We examined new Allacta materials from Yunnan and Hainan Province, China, and discovered new species using both morphological and molecular species delimitation (ABGD) methods. Five new species are described: A. bifolium Li & Wang, sp. nov. , A. hemiptera Li & Wang, sp. nov. , A. lunulara Li & Wang, sp. nov. , A. redacta Li & Wang, sp. nov. , and A. unicaudata Li & Wang, sp. nov. All five species are placed under the hamifera species group. An updated key and checklist of Allacta species from China are provided.

Abstract:This study examines Blattinae samples from Southwest China collected in recent years. Based on morphological characters, we establish two genera, Vittiblattagen. nov. and Planiblattagen. nov., and describe four new species, Vittiblattapunctata Luo & Wang, sp. nov., Vittiblattaferruginea Luo & Wang, sp. nov., Vittiblattaundulata Luo & Wang, sp. nov., and Planiblattacrassispina Luo & Wang, sp. nov. These two new genera resemble Periplaneta s.s., but are easily distinguished from it and other genera of Blattinae by morphological characters (genital sclerite L4C). Our results indicate that sclerites L4C and R1G of male genitalia might be important in species delimitation of Blattinae. In addition, chiral dimorphism is found in male genitalia of Vittiblattapunctata sp. nov.

Abstract:Two new species of Epichrysomallidae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea), Sycophilodes densfemur Yang, Peng and Rasplus sp. nov. and S. altissimae Yang, Peng and Rasplus sp. nov. are described and illustrated. These species are early gall makers developing in figs of Ficus altissima Blume, 1825 (Moraceae) in Xishuangbanna, China. Their biology is discussed and an identification key to the described species of Sycophilodes is provided.

Abstract:Symbiopsocus yangminus sp. n. is described based on specimens collected from Taiwan, China. We provide an updated checklist and comprehensive geographic distribution of Symbiopsocus, including species from China described in Mecampsis. The genus Symbiopsocus now comprises 20 species from mainland China, two species from Taiwan and one species from Japan. Updated keys to males and females of species from China are provided.
