Abstract:An updated key to the species-groups of Pachyprotasis is provided,proposing the P.melanosoma group addition for species formerly placed in the P.rapae group.A key to the species of the Pachyprotasis rapae group from China is provided,and four new species are described:P.motuoensis Zhong,Li & Wei sp.nov.,P.paraneixiangensis Zhong,Li & Wei sp.nov.,P.prismatiscutellum Zhong,Li & Wei sp.nov.and P.zejiani Zhong,Li & Wei sp.nov.The subspecies P.antennata lui is raised to species P.lui.

Abstract:Pachyprotasis maculotergitis and P.shanxiensis are described as new to science.Type specimens are deposited in the Insect Collection of Central South University of Forestry and Technology,Changsha,Hunan,China.1 Pachyprotasis maculotergitis sp.nov.(Figs.1-2)Female.Body length 9.0mm.It is a member of Pachyprotasis indica group,and is similar to P.rubiapicilia Wei et Nie,1999.but differs from the latter in:the tergites 6-8 black without red part,the hind margins of tergites 3-6 each with a triangular yellowish white spot,the middle spot on mesosternum yellowish white,and the female serrulae different.Holotype ♀,Zhen'an(33°27'N,109°10'E,alt.1300-1600m),Shaanxi Province,China,10 July 2005,YANG Qing.Paratype 1♀,same data as holotype.Etymology.The specific name is based on most part of tergites 3-5 browish,tergites 3-6 with white medial triangular spots.2 Pachyprotasis shaanxiensis sp.nov.(Figs.3-5)Male.Body length 8.0mm.It is a member of Pachyprotasis opacifrons group,and is close to P.nigrodorsata Wei et Nie,1999,but differs from in:the 3rd antennal segment slightly longer than the 4th one,the upper side of scutellum flat,glossy and strongly shining,punctures on it sparse,shallow and indistinct,microsculptured indistinct,median fovea sulciform,the middle petiole of anal cell in forewing as long as the basal anal cell,the R+M very short,and penis valve different from it.Holotype ♂,Foping(33°33'N,107°49'E,alt.1000-1450m),Shaanxi Province,China,17 May 2005,ZHU Xun.Etymology.The specific name is from the type locality,Shaanxi.

Abstract:A new species of the genus Nilothauma Kieffer, N. pandum sp. n., is described, and its morphological descriptions and illustrations are also given. A key to the males of Nilothauma is given. The adult male of N. pandum sp. n. can be distinguished from known species of the genus by the following combination of characters: anal point very broadly lanceolate with microtrichia in median ridge and apical margin, rounded at apex; superior volsella pad-like, expanded distally; median volsella curved, rounded at apex, with 2 long basal setae and 1 long median seta.

Abstract:A key to the species groups of Pachyprotasis from China is presented and the known species are associated with each of the groups. The species of the formosana group are reviewed and keyed. Four new species are described in this group, P. fopingensis sp. nov. (Shaanxi), P. maculoannulata sp. nov. (Hubei), P. nigricoxis sp. nov. (Yunnan) and P. altantennata sp. nov. (Hubei). The diagnostic characters of the previously known species of the group in China are revised.

Abstract:ABSTRACT The flavipes group of Pachyprotasis Hartig, 1837, with twenty-four species recognized in China, is reviewed. This number includes two newly described species, Pachyprotasis rufodorsata sp. nov., from Sichuan, Hubei, Ningxia, and Shaanxi provinces, and Pachyprotasis nigritarsalia sp. nov., from Hunan province. The mesopleuron and metapleuron of the two new species are reddish-brown, distinguishing them from other similar species of the P. flavipes group. Thirty-four species of this group have been recorded from China, one species (P. variegate Fallén, 1808) was found to be widespread throughout Europe and Siberia, twenty-four were originally described from the China and Burma-Yunnan frontier, eleven from India, and five from Japan. A key to the species of this group from China is provided.

Abstract:Two species, Ptecticus brevispinus sp. nov. and P. guangxiensis sp. nov., from China are described and illustrated. Additional two species, P. longispinus Rozkošný & Kovac, 2003 and P. melanurus (Walker, 1848), are recorded from China for the first time. Abstract:As part of a study on the inquilinous cynipids belonging to the tribe Synergini (Hymenoptera: Cynipidae: Cynipinae) in the Chinese fauna, we report in the present paper three species of the genus Ceroptres Hartig from that country, including C. masudai Abe, 1997 and two new species, C. distinctus sp. nov. and C. setosus sp. nov. In addition to detailed descriptions of the new species, we also provide an illustrated key to the species of the genus known from the Palaearctic region and a brief comparison between the Palaearctic and Nearctic Ceroptres species. Type specimens of the new species are deposited in the Parasitic Hymenoptera Collection, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China (ZJUH).

Abstract:Two new species i.e.: Humphaplotropis xiai sp. nov. and Humphaplotropis hebeiensis sp. nov. of the genus Humphaplotropis Xiao, Yin et Yin, 2013, are described from Hebei and Jiangsu, China in this paper. The new species Humphaplotropis xiai sp. nov. differs all known species of the genus by the abdomen like sawtooth in lateral view. The new species Humphaplotropis hebeiensis sp. nov. is similar to Humphaplotropis culaishanensis Lin, Cao et Yin, 2014, but differs from the latter by: lateral carinae of frontal ridge parallel; anterior margin of pronotum with acute angular in the middle, the apex reaching the hind margin of eyes; tegmina wider, cover 4/5 tympanum. Hind tibia yellow brown on upper side; epiphallus with 44 spikes, ancorae oblique inward distinctly, both posterior projections shorter than median projection. Type specimens are deposited in the Shanghai Entomological Museum, C.A.S., Shanghai and Natural Museum of Hebei University, Baoding, Hebei China respectively.
