Abstract:A new species of the genus Nilothauma Kieffer, N. pandum sp. n., is described, and its morphological descriptions and illustrations are also given. A key to the males of Nilothauma is given. The adult male of N. pandum sp. n. can be distinguished from known species of the genus by the following combination of characters: anal point very broadly lanceolate with microtrichia in median ridge and apical margin, rounded at apex; superior volsella pad-like, expanded distally; median volsella curved, rounded at apex, with 2 long basal setae and 1 long median seta.

Abstract:One new genus and species, Paramacrosteles nigromaculatus gen. et sp. nov. of subfamily Euscelinae is described from China, and is placed in Macrostelini. The genus is similar to Macrosteles Fieber in general appearance, but can be distinguished from the latter by having the aedeagus at apex with two paired fork-shape projections. Abstract:Two new species of the genus Eotmethis Bey-Bienko, 1948, namely Eotmethis xiai sp. nov., and Eotmethis platyverticus sp. nov. from the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Gansu province are described in this paper. The new species Eotmethis xiai sp. nov. is allied to E. recipennis Xi & Zheng, 1986, but differs from latter by the vertical diameter of eye about 1.2 times as long as horizontal diameter, prozona of pronotum equal to metazona, tegmina of female shorter, reaching 2nd abdominal tergite only. The new species Eotmethis platyverticus sp. nov. is allied to E. holanennis Zheng & Gow, 1981, but differs from latter by width of vertex between eyes 2 times diameter of eye and prozona of pronotum longer than metazoan in female. The type specimens are deposited in College of Life Sciences, Hebei University, Baoding, China.

Abstract:A new species, Hemiptarsenus jilinus Tao, sp. nov., is described and illustrated. All the type specimens were reared from Chromatomyia horticola (Goureau) (Diptera: Agromyzidae), a leafminer attacking the plants Ixeris polycephala Cass. and Pterocypsela indica (L.) Shih, in Jilin Province, north-eastern China. A key to Chinese species of the genus is provided.

Abstract:A new species of the genus Oxya, O. zhengi sp. nov., collected from Tengchong, Yunnan, China is described. The new species is similar to O. intricata (Stl), but differs in: 1) the body of male and female stocky, tegmina short, and only reaching the middle of hind femora; 2) in male, interspace of mesosternal lobes narrow, length about 3 times of the width; 3) without obvious teeth on external margin of the ventral valves of ovipositor, with a few tiny teeth; 4) the lophi of epiphallus large and triangular. This species is named in honor of Professor ZHENG Zhe-Min for his outstanding contribution to the systematic entomology.

Abstract:Two new species of the genus Mongolotettix Rehn, 1928 from China, i.e. Mongolotettix wulingyuanensis sp. nov. and Mongolotettix. shaanxiensis sp. nov. are described herein. M. wulingyuanensis sp. nov. is similar to M. angustiseptus Wan, Ren & Zhang, 1998, but differs from the latter by body larger, length of body ♂ 25.6 mm, ♀ 39.1mm; tegmina of male without a white stripe on the fore margin at base; subgenital plate of male conical, sides concave, apex acute; both outer sides of epiphallus without acute projection in the middle. M. shaanxiensis sp. nov. is similar to M. anomopterus (Caudell, 1921), but differs from the latter by tegmina of male longer, reaching the end of epiproct, without a white stripe on the fore margin at base, tegmina of female longer, reaching the middle of 2nd abdominal tergum, width of epiphallus larger than height, upper ovipositor valve slender, length 3.8 times its maximum width. A key to all nine known species of the genus from China is given. Type specimens are deposited in the Northwest Plateau Institute of Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xining, 810001, China.

Abstract:Three genera with eyes setose of Braconinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), i.e. Chelonogastra Ashmead, Ectemnoplax Enderlein and Pycnobracon Cameron, are reported in China with five species recognized, one of them is new species: Ectemnoplax xizanginensis, sp. nov. The new species is described and illustrated in detail. Pycnobracon is reported from China for the first time. The type specimens are deposited in the Parasitic Hymenoptera Collection, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China (ZJUH).

Abstract:The genus Eodendrus Belokobylskij (Hymenoptera: Braconidae, Doryctinae) from China is revised. Three species are recognized, of which a new species, E reticulatus Wang & Chen, sp. n., is described and illustrated, and Eodendrus hoabinicus Belokobylskij & Long, 2005 recorded in China for the first time. A key to the species of this genus is updated to include the new species. The type specimens are kept in the Parasitic Hymenoptera Collection, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou (ZJUH).

Abstract:A new species of the genus Mongolotettix Rehn, 1928 from Fujian, China is described in this paper. The new species Mongolotettix.fujianensis sp. nov. is similar to M. wulingyuanensis Shi, Liu et Li, 2016, but differs from the latter by maximum width of cubital area 1.4 times maximum width of medial area in tegmina of male; body small, length of body ♂ 21.5. mm, ♀ 30.6 mm; vertical diameter eye 1.3 times horizontal diameter in male; hind femur of male with 103 stridulatory pegs on inner side and epiphallus with indistinct projection on inner side of lateral plates. The new species is included in a key to the described species of the genus. The subgeneric name Cryptoxiloides Capek & Capecki, 1979 is used to accommodate the Palaearctic species in the genus Cryptoxilos Viereck.

Abstract:Two new species of the genus Aalatettix Zheng & Mao, 2002, namely Aalatettix yangi sp. nov. and Aalatettix xiai sp. nov. are described and illustrated. The new species Aalatettix yangi sp. nov. is allied to Aalatettix gibbosa Zheng, Cao & Chen, 2011, but upper margin of pronotum waved in lateral view, width of frontal ridge narrower than width of basal joint of antennae, hind tibiae dark brown, base not pale. The new species Aalatettix xiai sp. nov. is allied to Aalatettix yangi sp. nov., but length of pronotum shorter, not reaching epiproct, width of vertex 1.5 times diameter of eye, lateral carinae of pronotum contracted backward distinctly, posterior apex of lower margin angular on lateral lobe of pronotum, lower margin of median femur waved, antennae placed under lower margin of eyes. The type specimens are deposited in the National Museum of Natural Science, Taichung, Taiwan, China.

Abstract:The genus Mongolotettix Rehn, 1928 is a small genus of family Adrididae. It has nine species discovered from the Far Eastern Asian countries, including China, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, and Russia [Bolívar, 1898; Uvarov, 1914; Caudell, 1921; Chogsomzhav, 1974; Li et Lian, 1994; Wan, Ren et Zhang, 1998; Xie et Li, 2000, Kim et Kim 2005; Dong, et al, 2015; Shi et al, 2016; Storozhenko, 2016; Eades et al, 2017; Zhang et al, 2017]. In the present paper, we describe a new species of the genus from Hubei, China. Abstract:In this paper, two new species, namely Antepipona foveapronota Qin, Chen & Li, sp. nov. from Hainan (China) and A. xinjiangensis Qin, Chen & Li, sp. nov. from Xinjiang (China) are described and illustrated. A. varentzowi (Morawitz, 1895), A. luzonensis (Rohwer, 1919), and A. curialis (Morawitz, 1895) are newly recorded from China. In addition, the infrequent species A. tylocifica Kurzenko, 1977 is also redescribed. A key to the Chinese species of the genus Antepipona is provided.
