Study on the Wavelet Packet Based M-ary Multicarrier Spread Spectrum System

Abstract:A novel M-ary multicarrier spread spectrum scheme based on wavelet packet is proposed,which can achieve a higher bit transfer rate under the restricted bandwidth condition.The good properties of wavelet packet functions ensure that the new scheme is effective to overcome the influence of multipath channel.The performance advantages of the new scheme over the M-ary multicarrier spread spectrum scheme based on DFT are demonstrated by both study and simulation.
