Abstract:Beier depression is a secondary tectonic units in the southern part of Hailar basin,and contain vast reserves of oil and gas. Strongly influenced by multi period tectonic movements,the tectonic evolution of Beier depression is very complicated.Based on the seismic profile analysis and balanced cross-section recovery we identified three fault systems which conclude early extensional fault system, middle tensional-shear system and late inverse fault system, Beier depression experienced early Cretaceous faulted period、fault-depressed diversionary period and late Cretaceous depression period.
