Abstract:This paper introduces the theory of PWM control, and specially analyses some methods of SPWM, including Natural Sampling, Regular Sampling, and so on. Basing on the experimental patform of SPWM on DSP, the paper compares each method of SPWM and achieves some useful results.

Abstract:The influences of the torque ripples in the commutation interval and non-commutation zones, which were caused by the pulse width modulation(PWM) methods applying in the BLDCM with trapezoidal back-EMF(electromotive force)waveform, were investigated in this work. A new PWM method, PWM_-ON_-PWM, was proposed. Compared with the conventional PWM methods, the ripple current caused by the diode freewheeling in the non-commutation zone can be eliminated, and so the torque ripples can also be decreased by the proposed PWM method. The simulation and experimental results are demonstrated to verify the validity of the proposed PWM method.

Abstract:Using DSP, proposes three modulation methods based on single-phase full-bridge voltage-mode inverter, and gives the harmonic analysis of output voltage of three modulation methods. Finally the experimental results are given. One better performance modulation method is used in SPWM inverter power supply, it can achieve satisfied output waveforms.

Abstract:This paper introduced the methods which produce the PWM waveform by microprocessor,then introduced the PWM experimental platform based on TMS320LF2407 from PC, subordinate computer and the communication protocol.This platform can generate three-phase SPWM of various modulation methods,modulation frequencies,different carrier radios and modulation depths controlled by PC.This platform also can display the current and voltage waveforms of load dynamically.

Abstract:The repetitive control is widely used in inverters, the traditional parallel-type repetitive control(PRC) scheme improves dynamic response with PI control in parallel. The improved parallel- type repetitive control(IPRC) scheme can optimize both tracking performance and anti-jamming performance of the system at the same time, compared with PRC. This paper proposes a weighted parallel-type repetitive control(WPRC) scheme, which achieves excellent dynamic response during load variation. Meanwhile, system with WPRC scheme still achieves the index of total harmonic distortion(THD). Repetitive control design based on specific frequency notch filter is first given. Then the theoretical analysis and design of comparing IPRC and WPRC in respect of dynamic response is presented. Finally a 120W vehicle inverter prototype has been constructed to the proposed control scheme. Experimental results show that the WPRC controlled inverter can achieve both good dynamic response and low THD.

Abstract:The theories of space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) modulation based on direct power control (DPC) with fixed frequency and the SVPWM modulation based on DPC with unfixed frequency are presented and the two methods are compared in respects of the frequency of the switch,the content of the harmonic and the quality of the con-trol.It’s proved that the arithmetic based on the unfixed frequency is easier but it’s difficult to design the inductance be-cause of the unfixed frequency.SVPWM modulation based on direct power control with fixed frequency is much better at the same switch frequency.

Abstract:It’s difficult to obtain high quality sine waveform and strong robustness of output voltage in the digitalized inverter due to the time-delay phenomenon and load parameter uncertainty.Combined with predictive control algorithm,the internal model control (IMC) is presented for SPWM,and feedback control can be obtained with only output voltage sampled.The theory Reasoning,the performance analysing and the process designing are also introduced.The simulated data and experiment results illustrates the inverter can reach the fast dynamic performance,strong robustness,good steady-state waveform quality with the control strategy.

Abstract:SVPWM( space vector PWM) method is introduced, mathematical expressions of inverter output voltage, load phase voltage and load neutral voltage of SVPWM and SPWM are deduced respectively, harmonic wave characteristics of SVPWM is analyzed. Maximum output fundamental voltage and modulation ration of the two methods are calculated, the similarities and differences are analyzed.

Abstract:Employing the algorithm of our improved direct pulse width modulation(PWM),we carry out the sine-PWM(SPWM) control software based on a C51 microcontroller applied in an uninterruptible power supply(UPS).The problem of reset is solved by using transistor-transistor logic(TTL) gates.This makes the control system generate the signals simply.In the research of dc-ac converter controlled by IR2110 drive chips,the result reveals that the interval between two supplementary SPWM signals can ensure the dead time,and the harmonic waves are very small. The advantage of the present method is to produce the high-frequency SPWM signals.Meanwhile,a part of the controlling circuit is very simple and can be easily developed into a closed-loop feedback system.

Abstract:Pulse width modulation (PWM) technology is one of the key issues of power electronic circuit control. Sine pulse width modulation (SPWM) and space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) are the most popular PWM strategies. In this paper, the relationship between SPWM and SVPWM is analyzed in two aspects, one is the modulation-wave equivalence, and the other is the acting time equivalence, system performance optimization is also analyzed under the two kinds of equivalence. Simulation and experiment results are given to validate the theoretical analysis.

Abstract:As the natural sampling method generating SPWM pulses closer to sine wave is impractical in real-time control,the regular sampling method with poor precision is usually adopted in practical projects.Based on the sinusoidal pulse width modulation technology and the regular sampling method,the accurate switching time point calculation formula are derived for the tangent sampling method and secant sampling method.The precision of on-off switching moments are analyzed and the comparison of switching time point shows that,the SPWM pulses generated by the tangent method and secant method are closest to the pulses generated by the natural sampling method and their switching time point errors are smaller than those of the regular sampling method.Simulation with Matlab indicates that their harmonic contents are less than those of the regular sampling method.

Abstract:By analyzing the basic principle of voltage space-vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM), a sort of digital arithmetic is expatiated and the hardware and software of frequency regulating speed system for SVPWM are designed with DSP as its core in this paper. The results of experiment indicate that the system has a higher control precision and better dynamic capability, and the system can decrease obviously current harmonic component of inverter and harmonic wear of motor, and debase torque bouncing.\;

Abstract:The triangular wave comparison control technology of active power filter was emphatically analyzed.On the basis of theoretical analysis,the model of parallel active power filter based on PSIMwas built and the simulation of SPWM control based on triangular wave comparison method was studied.The simulation results under different parameters were given and the simulation results were analyzed in detail.The simulation results showthat the tracking control of SPWMhas a good effect.

Abstract:Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) and Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) are the most popular modulation strategies applied to variable frequency and adjusting speed systems, and there are diverges in comparing the merits and demerits of their own. Also there is another modulation strategy called One-cycle Control. This paper gathers the three strategies and does some comparisons through simulation based on a simulation tool-PSIM, and has drawn some profitable conclusions.

Abstract:Microstepping control for stepper motor is a well-known technique to improve stepper motor performance. In this paper, a digital controller for microstepping drive of stepper motor using Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) approach is proposed and the electromagnetic torque is compared to the conventional full-step methodology and the SPWM technique used for microstepping. The system has been simulated using Matlab/Simulink and the controller has been implemented using STM32F103 microcontroller. The paper presents the design, analysis, simulation and experimental results of SPWM based microstepping drive, and the simulation and experimental results depict the effectiveness of the controller.

Abstract:In traditional direct power control(DPC),the losing control of the reactive power will increase the input current waveform′s harmonics.In order to improve the control of the reactive power,this paper researches into a control method of DPC combined with space vector modulation(DPC-SVM).The experimental result indicates that DPC-SVM has an good control capability of the active and reactive power,while making the input current more sinusoidal.

Abstract:The research prospect of the three-level pulse width modulation (PWM) inverter and the control principle of space vector PWM (SVPWM) are introduced. A SVPWM method based on the measurement of the DC link voltage and the direction of the neutral-point current is presented to solve the problem of neutral-point voltage balancing. The disposals of sub-pulse and the dead-time are proposed, and the arrangement of vectors in the sub-area of pie slice is provided. The scheme of SVPWM implemented by DSP LF2407A is introduced. The validity of the scheme for solving neutral-point voltage balancing and the convenience of the realization by DSP are demonstrated by the experimental results.

Abstract:The real-time control algorithm,based on internal model control with model prediction,is proved to be a solution to overcome the time-delay phenomenon and load parameter uncertainty inherent in digitalized SPWM inverter.This control algorithm was further studied.Firstly,the effect of parameters contained in this control algorithm on control performance,including robust stability and performance in rejection to disturbance,was analyzed employing nyquist diagram in Z domain and Bode plots,respectively.Thus,the design basis for parameter was given.Lastly,the experiment results illustrate that SPWM inverter introducing this control algorithm in accordance to the design basis can achieve good robustness,steady-state accuracy,and fast dynamic performance.

Abstract:This paper starts with the vector control theory of PWM converter.First d,q model is established which is needed for the current control of PWM converter.A d,q current decoupling control strategy is proposed.The main circuit based on IPM and the digital control circuit based on TMS320LF2407A ae detailed introduced.The experimental results present that the PWM converter can run with sine input current with unit power factor,steady DC output voltage and fast dynamic response.The characteristics meet the design demands.
