First of all, this paper combs the history and cultural value of traditional cultural elements, and analyzes how to integrate the traditional elements into modern architectural design and its innovation. Combined with specific cases, it illustrates how to combine traditional elements and modern design concepts to reflect modern functional requirements without losing the traditional flavor. On this basis, the influence and potential value of this design trend for future architectural design are discussed.

Abstract:Extension Architectural Design Innovation(EADI) is a study focused on architectural design innovation using extenics as ideas and tools.It's a kind of theory and methods based on the intercrossing study of extenics,innovation and architecture.As a kind of heuristic innovation mechanism,it pitchs to solve three kinds of problems,i.e.condition problems,contradiction problems and value problems.The comparative advantage of EADI are strong systemic,high efficiency and good stability.This paper starts with the background of intercross and sets up the strategies creating mechanisms which recurs to the explaining of EADI's conception and study confine,advantages and connotation,formal expression methods and processes,significance and future.The purpose of EADI is to establish the rational framework of architectural design innovation and adds systemic,efficiency and stabilization to architectural design innovation.

Abstract:Since entering the new millennium, people have put forward higher requirements for the practicability and appreciation of architecture. This means that the traditional architecture is bound to usher in the tide of all-round reform. In order to adapt to the changes of the times, architectural design education must actively adjust, change the malpractice of only focusing on internal audit and relatively ignoring the external demand, and take meeting the market demand as the key goal of cultivating students. The author has been involved in architectural design education for many years and has a clear understanding of the current situation of the major. At the same time, he has long been concerned about the changes in the market demand of the major. On this basis, we can analyse the existing problems from the perspective of innovation, and then put forward suggestions to solve the problems combined with the changes of market demand. Finally, this paper looks forward to the future of digital architecture.

Abstract:With the impact of urbanization and other factors, the vernacular architectural heritage faces the problem of how to carry on and innovate for sustainable development with originality and authenticity in the process of redesigning and planning. Therefore, this study uses the visualization method of quantitative analysis to analyze the research trends and hot spots of domestic vernacular architecture and explore new ways of coexistence between vernacular architecture, subject perception and cultural ecology. The critical challenge of this study is to analyze the theoretical coupling action rule between the socio-cultural structure of emotions and the cultural ecosystem of vernacular architecture, drawing on the concept of cultural ecology and the reasoning method of transmission relations in logical deduction. The main contribution of this study is to propose the concept of a subjective-cultural ecological design system for the sustainable development of vernacular architecture, to establish a three-dimensional structural analysis design paradigm and an evaluation analysis matrix, and to make vernacular architecture present the self-renewal ability of continuous exchange and revision in the dynamic cycle of this design system. This study aims to provide a standardized and flexible design research framework for contemporary vernacular architecture's innovation and sustainable development.

Abstract:Architectural innovation is a new research sphere in the architectural theory domain of China.It aims at the research about the theory and method of the architectural design innovation.Extenies provides new theory,method and formatized description tools for this field.The thesis crosses Extenics,Innovation,the thinking science and the architecture to study the application of the four extension thinking modes in the archi- tectural design innovation.Further,the theory and method of the architectural design innovation based on Ex- tenics will come into being.The four extension thinking modes are rhombus thinking method,reversed rhom- bus thinking method,conjugate thinking method and conductive thinking method.This paper discusses the re- lation between the four extension thinking modes and the architectural design innovation,explores the possibil- ity to apply it to the architectural design innovation.The thesis describes and analyzes the contradiction prob- lem consisting in architectural design with the method provided by Extenies.It is very hopeful to the innovation practice of architectural design,and the research about the theory and method to the architectural design inno- vation.

Abstract:Contemporary architectural design is flourishing in China,and new structural design concepts and techniques for the construction brings a lot of inspirations and creative thinking into architectural design.However,there are also architectural works with unreasonable yet costly structure system,which considers no historical context and makes negative impact on the creativity of today's architectural design.On the other hand,following foreign architectural masterpieces blindly exerts a strong influence on Chinese market and this phenomenon raises academic concern.Therefore,it is necessary to recognize the inherent nature of how the internal structural elements of a building deliver the living expression of the external artistic representaiton.This study attempts to remind domestic architects to adhere to the sound structural principles in the creative design process to achieve artistic impact with value,quality and performance.Through the study of artistic architectural design of historical meaning and its contribution to the progress of civilization,the modern masterpieces which have achieved the balance of technical and artistic expression,can be further investigated and analyzed.The authors call for an objective evaluation framework be developed to illustrate the interaction of such "technical" and "artistic" expressions,which architects may apply in their creative design process to contribute a higher level of harmony to our living environment.
