Abstract:Nine representative routes of public transport in Taiyuan were selected to study the bus driving cycle.A large number of related data were collected by vehicle data recorder.Principal component analysis and two step clustering method in statistical analysis software (SPSS) were used to analyze the data and the typical kinematics fragments was pick up to build the actual bus driving cycle of Taiyuan.It was compared with the other typical working condition at home and abroad.The results showed that the developed working condition can reflect the actual status of bus driving cycle in Taiyuan and other conditions obviously cannot show the real traffic information in Taiyuan.The relevant departments were suggested to adopt Taiyuan's own comprehensive conditions and develop a more scientific and reasonable bus driving cycle.
