Abstract:The uniqueness problem on entire functions that share only one small function with their derivatives and their linear differential polynomials are studied.The result improves a theorem due to Jank,Mues and Volkmann in two ways.

Abstract:In this paper, we prove a theorem on the growth of a solution of a linear differential equation. From this we obtain some uniqueness theorems concerning that a nonconstant entire function and its derivatives sharing a small entire function. The results in this paper improve many known results. Some examples are provided to show that the results in this paper are the best possible.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the uniqueness of the differential-difference polynomials of entire functions on $\mathbb{C}^{n}$. We prove the following result: Let $f(z)$ be a transcendental entire function on $\mathbb{C}^{n}$ of hyper-order less than $1$ and $g(z)=b_{-1}+\sum_{i=0}^{n}b_{i}f^{(k_{i})}(z+\eta_{i})$, where $b_{-1}$ and $b_{i} (i=0\ldots,n)$ are small meromorphic functions of $f$ on $\mathbb{C}^{n}$, $k_{i}\geq0 (i=0\ldots,n)$ are integers, and $\eta_{i} (i=0\ldots,n)$ are finite values. Let $a_{1}(z)\not\equiv\infty, a_{2}(z)\not\equiv\infty$ be two distinct small meromorphic functions of $f(z)$ on $\mathbb{C}^{n}$. If $f(z)$ and $g(z)$ share $a_{1}(z)$ CM, and $a_{2}(z)$ IM. Then either $f(z)\equiv g(z)$ or $a_{1}=2a_{2}=2$, $$f(z)\equiv e^{2p}-2e^{p}+2,$$ and $$g(z)\equiv e^{p},$$ where $p(z)$ is a non-constant entire function on $\mathbb{C}^{n}$. Especially, in the case of $g(z)=(\Delta_{\eta}^{n}f(z))^{k}$, we obtain $f(z)\equiv (\Delta_{\eta}^{n}f(z))^{k}$.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the uniqueness of entire functions that share the value with their derivatives and difference operator simultaneously. Suppose f(z) is a nonconstant entire function of finite order, k is a positive integer, a and c are two nonzero finite constants. If f(z), f((k))(z) and Delta(c)f(z) share a CM, then f(z) = Ce-lambda z - a/A + a, where lambda(k) = A = (ln(A + 1))(k), A and C are nonzero constants. Moreover, suppose f(z) is a nonconstant entire function. If f(z), f''(z) and Delta(c)f(z) share 0 CM, then f(z) = Ce-lambda z, where lambda(2) = A.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the uniqueness of the differential-difference of meromorphic functions. We prove the following result: Let $f$ be a nonconstant meromorphic function of $\rho_{2}(f)<1$, let $\eta$ be a non-zero complex number, $n\geq1, k\geq0$ two integers and let $a\not\equiv0,\infty$ be a small function of $f$. If $f$ and $(\Delta_{\eta}^{n}f)^{(k)}$ share $0,\infty$ CM and share $a$ IM, then $f\equiv(\Delta_{\eta}^{n}f)^{(k)}$, which use a completely different method to improve some results due to Chen-Xu [1].

Abstract:The classical implicit function theorem gives conditions that the function is Frechet differentiable and the derivative is surjective. In this short article they are generalized to conditions of Lipschitz and monotone type. The newly obtained implicit function theorems are used to derive two sets of sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of solutions to the initial value problems of nonsmooth implicit differential equations.

Abstract:In this paper, we present a uniqueness theorem obtained by using direct calculation. This theorem is applicable to stability problems of functional equations whose solutions are monomial or generalized polynomial mappings of degree n. The advantage of this uniqueness theorem is that it simplifies the proof by eliminating the need to repeatedly and cumbersomely prove uniqueness in stability studies.

Abstract:This paper concerns the regularity of a functional differential equation in the form: u˙(t)=Au(t)+B1u(t−r)+∫−r0a(s)B2u(t+s)ds, t>0, where A is the generator of an analytic semigroup on a Banach space X, and B1,B2 are (γ−A)α-bounded linear operator for 0<α<1. By spectral analysis, it is shown that the associated solution semigroup of this equation is eventually differentiable.
