Mechanism of the factors influencing the health technology assessment knowledge translation：based on ground theory approach and structural equation model

Abstract:Objective:To analyze the mechanism of the factors influencing the health technology assessment (HTA) knowledge translation.Methods:The grounded theory approach was used to construct the hypothesis model of the mechanism from aspect of combination of researchers with policy-makers,and then structural equation model was adopted to validate the model.Results:Grounded theory approach and structural equation model were verified and further adjusted. The final model indicated that the facility factors and personal factors of researchers and policy-makers affected the health technology assessment knowledge translation through the communication factors between researchers and policy-makers,and the effect value was 0.30 and 0.23,respectively. The communication factors affected the HTA knowledge translation with a 0.78 effect value. The research demand and decision-making demand influence the HTA knowledge translation with a 0.12 value directly. Conclusion:The communication factors between researchers and policy-makers played an important role in HTA knowledge translation. Therefore,besides strengthening related training in HTA knowledge translation and improving the researchers and policy-makers to acknowledge that HTA knowledge translation is important,communication is also useful.
