Abstract:[Objective] To analyze the anemia prevalence of different months in infant, and to discuss the influential factors of anemia. [Method] To study the data of 829 infants aged 1-12 months first coming to the child health care. [Results] Anemia prevalence of infant was 15. 56%,in 1-4 months was 9. 7%,in 5-6 months was 15. 3% ,in 7 - 12 months was 32. 1%. In 1-4months infants, anemia prevalence was lower in breast-feeding infants, and it was association with mother suffering from antenatal bleed or pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH), infants' gestation week and birth weight. However, in 5-12months infants, anemia prevalence was lower than in formula feeding infant, and it was association with the appetite of infants. Logistic regression analysis showed that birth weight and mother suffering from PIH were correlation with anemia in 1-4 months, feeding fashion and average increase data of stature of every month were correlation with anemia in 5-12 months. [Conclusion] Reinforcing the perinatal health care; reducing the rate of low birth weight infant; advocating breast-feeding and at the same time paying attention to supplementation of the complement food are the effective measures of reducing infant anemia.
