A Brief Investigation on the Satisfaction of Different Insured Populations for the Effect of Health Care System Reform in Primary Health Institutions in Hubei Province

Abstract:Objectives To analyze the satisfaction of different insured populations for the effect of health system reform in primary health institutions in Hubei province,and to collect relevant recommendations to provide comments for further health system reform.Methods General survey method was used to investigate residents of 1268 government primary health institutions in Hubei province.Satisfactions for medical costs,reimbursement ratio,attitude of service,and effect of health system reform were analyzed.Suggestions on medical reform were gathered.Results The satisfactions of differ-ent insured populations were all higher than 90% in term of medication costs.The satisfaction was the lowest in the proportion of reimbursement (45.1%).There was connection between the satisfaction in the effect of new medical reform and the proportion of reimbursement(correlation coefficient=0.560,P <0.001).Suggestions were focused on"expand the basic medicine catalog"and"timely distribution of basic drugs".Conclusions The satisfactions were highly consistent in the new health system reform among different insured populations,while the satisfactions were different in the proportion of reimbursement.The health reform proposals were based on the system of essential medicine,including "expand the basic medicine catalog" and"timely distribution of basic drugs".
