Abstract:Zangyinchen is a Tibetan folk medicine with its various pharmacological effects,especially in the treat of gall bladder and liver disorders.Chemical and pharmacological studies of Zangyinchen have show that its rich bioactive constituents,amarogentin, gentiopicroside,ursolic acid and oleanolic acid,have been found to have antitumor activities with low toxicities.The author reviewed antitumor activities of Zangyinchen extracts and their Mechanisms to draw great attention on its potential clinical application on cancer therapy.
