Clinical Value of Combined Detection of E-cadherin and VEGF in Diagnosis of Ovarian Benign and Malignant Tumors

Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical value of combined detection of E-cadherin and VEGF in the diagnosis of ovarian benign and malignant tumors.Methods:83 patients with ovarian benign and malignant tumor accepted in our hospital from January 2012 to January 2016 were selected.And the expression level of E-cadherin and VEGF were tested by immunohistochemistry and compared between two groups.Results:The positive expression rate of E-cadherin of ovarian benign tumor,borderline tumor and malignant tumor was 64.71％,44.44 ％ and 25.00 ％ respectively.The positive expression rate of VEGF of ovarian benign tumor,borderline tumor and malignant tumor was 11.76 ％,33.33 ％ and 83.33 ％ respectively.There was statistically difference between them (P＜0.05).The expression level of E-cadherin and VEGF in ovarian malignant tumor had correlation with degrees of pathological differentiation and FIGO stage (P＜0.05).The expression of VEGF had correlation with lymph node metastasis (P＜0.05),but E-cadherin had no correlation with it (P＞0.05).There was a negative correlation between E-cadherin and VEGF (r=-0.472,P＜0.05).Conclusions:The low expression of E-cadherin and high expression of VEGF has a close relation with the occurrence,development and invasion of ovarian malignant tumor.
