Abstract:Objective To provide theoretical foundation for health education on AIDS among migrant workers in city. Methods 4415 migrant workers completed a self-administered anonymous questionnaire on AIDS knowledge, attitude and behavior in Hangzhou.Results WTBZData analysis revealed that 92.6% of this population said that they heard of AIDS. As a group they displayed a high level of knowledge about modes of AIDS transmission. Nevertheless, 51.9% of migrant workers didn't know that condom could prevent from AIDS. Moreover, majority of respondents didn't think that people with AIDS could marry and conceive offspring , 6.5% of migrant workers said that their fellow workers ever had contact with sex women. The results of the logistic regression models showed that education level, sex and monthly wages had an important effect on knowledge of AIDS among migrant workers.Conclusion Migrant workers had some knowledge about AIDS, but still misunderstand in some aspects of awareness. Low education level , male and low income migrant workers in city would become the crucial group in health education of AIDS in the future .

Exploration of Management Pattern of Antiviral Treatment of AIDS in Areas with Less Medical Resources

Abstract:Objective To explore the management pattern of antiviral treatment of AIDS in the areas with less medical resources so as to observe the effect of antiviral medicines. Method According to the district distribution of AIDS patients, different treatment and management patterns were adopted to observe the treatment dependence and the effect. Results Both the dependence and the gross efficiency of all the treatment patterns are over 90% to be found effective; CD + 4 lymphocytes of the patients with the antiviral treatment after 6 months increased significantly than that of the patients without any treatment. Conclusion In the areas of the countryside, the resources available, it is a practical management pattern to have the patients centralized in higher medical institutions and treated, then to have a touring group of doctors sent periodically to basic medical institutions or to resend doctors to give the antiviral treatment of AIDS in the areas with less medical resources.

Abstract:Antiretroviral therapy (ART) is a chronic suppressive treatment that provides lifelong treatment effectively for patients with HIV,improving the quality of life for patients.Although the overall trend of new infections is declining,the number of new HIV infections per year and the number of deaths related AIDS is still very large,remaining one of the world's biggest public health challenges.In the field of epidemiology,HIV/AIDS distributed in poor areas with limited medical means such as Africa,and men who have sex with men (MSM),sex workers and people who inject drugs (PWID) become the main susceptible population;In the field of prevention,prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) services,treatment as prevention (TasP) and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PREP) have achieved initial success,but the coverage is still limited;In the field of treatment,the extent of HIV resistance in multiple countries increases to more than 10％,and the cure of HIV/AIDS research and vaccine development are currently in animal or cellular experiments.Over the past decade,China has established several measures to prevent the HIV epidemic further,and improve the quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS patients.At the same time,China is also facing the following challenges:the targeted prevention program,susceptible groups increased (such as MSM,PWID and youth),long-term care of patients with HIV/AIDS,the coverage of PMTCT services,eliminate discrimination process,etc.Therefore,the purpose of this article is to review the epidemic status and control strategies of HIV/AIDS in China and the whole world in recent years.

Abstract:Objective To explore the work contents and work problems of AIDS care practice,and provide suggestions on the role expansion of nurses in AIDS care.Methods A qualitative study was conducted on nurses by using in-depth individual interview.Data were analyzed according to Colaizzi’s analysis with NVi-vo 8.0 software.Results 5 themes were extracted on the work contents and work problems of AIDS care practice respectively,including symptom care,mental care,management of highly active antiretroviral ther-apy,illness monitoring and nurse-patient relationship.Conclusion Work contents of AIDS care practice were relatively comprehensive,but there were still many problems in AIDS care practice.It’s recommended that role expansion of nurses in AIDS care should base on human resource allocation and advanced profes-sional standard.

Abstract:After thirty-two years since the first domestic outbreak of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)/ acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) among injection drug users (IDUs) and almost two decades of comprehensive response efforts by the Chinese government, HIV/AIDS remains a major public health problem. The increasing burden of HIV/AIDS and comorbidities, the emergence of new HIV subtypes and/or circulating recombinant forms and drug mutations, the changing transmission networks, and the urgency of immediate antiretroviral therapy initiation upon an HIV diagnosis are increasingly challenging and altogether likely to have significant impact on the HIV epidemic in China. Upon the call for the global AIDS response to end AIDS by 2030, China needs to develop an innovative and pragmatic roadmap to address these challenges. This review is intended to provide a succinct overview of what China has done in efforts to achieve the global goal of ending AIDS by 2030 and the recently proposed "95-95-95-95" target (95% combination prevention, 95% detection, 95% treatment, 95% viral suppression), and to summarize the most recent progresses in the epidemiological research of HIV/AIDS in China with the aim of providing insights on the next generation of HIV control and prevention approaches and to shed light on upgrading the national strategy to end AIDS in this country.

Abstract:AIDS antiviral therapy (ART) has achieved great success.Originaly,AIDS had been regarded as a fatal disease,but it has become a kind of infectious disease that could be cured and administrated.Global HIV / AIDS cases were still up to about 38 million,but more than half have been effectively treated.In addition to drug treatment,at present,some new technologies and new methods,such as genome editing,have also been involved in the treatment of AIDS,and in the humanized animal experiment has shown very good results.There is no doubt that AIDS will eventually be stopped its epidemic.However,with the continuous development of AIDS antiviral treatment,the most fundamental problem is that HIV latent library has become increasingly prominent one,whether molecular therapy and hybrid cure have being developed for AIDS treatment,there are still such problem existence.Great efforts shoud be made to continuously search for new markers of latent viral cells and to reduce the latent pool.In addition,despite the prevention and treatment of AIDS has made great achievements,but the world still produces nearly 6000 cases of HIV/AIDS every day.Therefore,the development of safe and effective vaccine,whether in the field of prevention,or in clinical treatment,has its positive significance.

Abstract:Objective To understand the real life experience of HIV/AIDS infected homosexual males in marriage relationship and receiving anti-viral treatment, in order to provide guidance for better case management. Methods Semistructured interviews were conducted among 10 married AIDS homosexual male patients, and the data were analyzed using Colaizzi phenomenological analysis. Results Finally 5 topics including "shame and self-discrimination ", "worrying about wife and children being infected and discriminated", "the pressure and hope of marriage for treatment", "not knowing how to inform disease status to spouse and children", and "sense of uncertainty towards prognosis".Conclusion The marriage between a gay and a female brings psychological pressure to AIDS infected gay patients, as well as impacts on their treatment. This group has ethical dilemmas, and their lifestyle affects the spread of diseases.Therefore, trapeted intervention provided by professional medical staff are required.

Abstract:Prevention and control of acquired immure deficiency syndrome(AIDS)involves a number of social sectors,which has been indicated,without detailed elucidation,in the National Mid-and Long-term Program for Prevention and Control of AIDS from 1998 to 2010 formulated in 2001.Through literature review,brainstorm and focus group discussions and other means,we have defined specific functions and division of responsibilities of related sectors,and confirmed that the implementation of responsibilities in different sectors are closely interrelated and that AIDS prevention and control is by no means an endeavor of the single disease control and prevention institution and should be supported by the whole society In conclusion,we think that the sectors which are involved in AIDS prevention and control should include CDC at all levels,local health bureaus,related government agencies,hospitals,police and publicity departments,family planning committees,FDA,education departments,business sectors,the community,statistical bureaus and others.

Abstract:Objective To study knowledge of and attitude toward HIV/AIDS and voluntary counseling and testing(VCT) among managers of mobile population so as to provide scientific basis for implementation of acceptable VCT programs.Methods Twenty eight candidates were selected with multiple-stage sampling methods.In-depth interviews were conducted to collect information on their knowledge of and attitudes toward HIV/AIDS and VCT.Result The subjects under study had low-level knowledge of AIDS control and prevention,but they were willing to support intervention and public education for HIV/AIDS.Many of them had fear of HIV/AIDS and discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS.Their knowledge of VCT was relatively low,and most of them believed that the mobile population could not be infected with AIDS,and so VCT would be unnecessary;they also admitted their discrimination against those seeking VCT Conclusion Education on AIDS and VCT need to be enhanced in this specific managerial staff to create a good environment of AIDS prevention and control for mobile population.

Abstract:Objective To provide evidence support for developing clinical practice guidelines on AIDS related symptoms management by re‐evaluation of AIDS related symptoms and Meta analysis .Method Re‐evaluation method was adapted to evaluate the AIDS related symptoms evaluating management system and Meta analysis .Result 29 systematic reviews or Meta‐analysis were included ,which involved these aspects:fatigue ,pain ,oral mucosal damage , wasting symptoms ,forgetfulness and cognitive problems ,anxiety ,depression and grief .Conclusion High quality evi‐dence resources have been formed and reliable evidence support have been provided for the development of clinical practice guidelines based on overviews of reviews .

Abstract:Objective: The purpose of this study was to establish a set of specifications for position settings and responsibilities of community nurses which are suitable for the current status of community health services, and could be easily applied in actual operation, then provide specific and clear guidance to community nurses. Methods: Interview, observation and typical case study were used to investigate the status of position settings and responsibilities of community nurses. Interview, questionnaire and expert appraisal method were used to establish proposals for position settings and responsibilities of community nurses. Results: Currently, the classifications of the work positions of community nurses had not been standardized; position settings were not conducive to the completion of community nursing works. Position responsibilities were not explicit, and division of work with other professionals was not clear. Conclusion: Targeted at the core mission of community health services, we recommend community nurses positions could be divided into two categories: general nurse and public health nurse positions. The recommended ratio of general practitioners to general nurses is 1:(2~3); and public health physicians to public health nurse is 1:1.
