Abstract:Objective:To study the effect of nursing intervention based on self-regulation theory on physical and mental recovery and quality of life of patients with stroke sequelae, so as to provide reference for related work.Methods:A total of 126 patients with sequelae of stroke admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical College from January to December 2019 were selected as the research objects, and were randomly divided into two groups according to the order of admission, with 63 cases in the control group and 63 cases in the observation group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, while the observation group was given nursing intervention based on self-regulation theory.The negative emotions, physical rehabilitation and quality of life were compared between two groups.The negative emotions were evaluated by the Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) and the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), and the physical rehabilitation was simplified by Fugl-Meyer Assessment Scale (FMA) and Modified Bathel Index (MBI) assessment.The quality of life was evaluated by Daily Living Ability Scale (ADL) and Life Satisfaction Index A(LSIA).Results:Before intervention, there was no significant difference in SDS and SAS scores between the two groups ( P>0.05). After intervention, the SDS and SAS scores of the observation group and the control group were significantly reduced, and SDS and SAS scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05). Before intervention, there was no significant difference in FMA and MBI scores between the two groups ( P>0.05). After intervention, FMA and MBI scores of the observation group and the control group were significantly improved, and FMA and MBI scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences ( P<0.05). Before intervention, there was no significant difference in ADL and LSIA scores between two groups ( P>0.05). After intervention, the ADL and LSIA scores of the observation group and the control group were significantly improved, but there was no statistical significance in the ADL instrumental daily living ability scores of the two groups ( P>0.05), but the ADL total score and physical self-care dimension score and LSIA score of the observation group were significantly better than the control group, with statistically significant differences( P<0.05). Conclusions:Nursing intervention based on self-regulation theory has a satisfactory application effect in patients with sequelae of stroke, which can better improve patients' negative emotions, promote their limb function rehabilitation and improve their quality of life.
