Abstract:Objective:To explore the intervention effect of health education based on target monitoring on patients discharged from hospital after radiofrequency ablation of atrial fibrillation. Methods:From July 2016 to April 2017, 130 patients in the Department of Dardiology of the First Affiliated Hospital of the University of Science and Technology of China who underwent radiofrequency ablation for atrial fibrillation were selected and were divided into intervention group and control gruoup according to the random number method, 65 cases of each group. The control group was given routine discharge education. The intervention group was given health education based on objective monitoring on the basis of the control group.Medication compliance, anxiety and depression levels, atrial fibrillation recurrence and major bleeding events were compared between the two groups at 1 and 3 months of discharge follow-up.Results:Patients in the intervention group had better medication compliance at 1 and 3 months of discharge follow-up than those in the control group, and their anxiety level, atrial fibrillation recurrence rate, depression level and bleeding event rate at 1 and 3 months of discharge follow-up were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences ( P<0.05). Conclusions:The health education based on target monitoring can effectively improve the medication compliance of patients with atrial fibrillation radiofrequency ablation after discharge, improve their anxiety and depression levels, and reduce the recurrence rate of atrial fibrillation and the risk of bleeding events.
