Transvaginal Ultrasound and Color Doppler Energyin Diagnosis of Uterine Submucous Myoma and Edometrial Polyps

Abstract:Objective　 To evaluate the diagnostic and differential diagnostic value of transvaginal ultrasoud (TVUS) and color Doppler energy (CDE) for uterine endometrial polyps and submucors myoma. Methods　 TVUS B-mode and CDE findings were reviewed and comfirmed by operation and pathology in 84 cases of uterine endometrial polyps and 29 cases of submucous myoma. Results　 There were some significant differences presented between uterine endometrial polyps and submucors myoma in sizes, shapes, echoes, low echonic rings and endometrial angles of tumors.CDE images demonstrated different patterns of vasculatueres in tumors and pediuncles. Conclusion　TVUS and CDE have a profound diagnostic and differentate value of endometrial polyps and submucous myoma.
