Abstract:It expounded the status quo of research on communication of nurses in abroad and in China.The author thought that research on communication of nurses was relatively mature in abroad.Assessment tools included Roter interaction analysis system,four conventions coding system,conversation analysis and communication scale.However,research on communication of nurses in China was still at the starting stage.Rating scales development are not mature.It needs to develop assessment scales of communication skills for evaluation of clinical nurses so as to provide some bases for evaluating and enhancing communication skills of clinical nurses.

An investigation and analysis of health education recognition among community health care nurses

Abstract:Objective: To describe health education recognition status of commu- nity health care nurses as well as health education status, thereby to identify current existing difficulties and vulnerable points in health education provided by community health care nurses. Method: Questionnaire was used to collect the data and 100 commu- nity health care nurses from 8 community health centers participated in this survey. Results: Among 100 surveyed nurses, 95% percent of them reported that health educa- tion was one part of community nursing and it was very important to develop health education. The average score regarding community health education basic theoretical knowledge was 6～14 (9.75 ± 1.755). The main difficulties nurses met in health educa- tion were as following: lack of funds and equipments, limited knowledge and skills, lack of settings and shortage of nursing staff, etc. Conclusion: Community health care nurses’ values have changed, but there are some misunderstandings at different levels in devel- oping health education. It is needed to attract nursing managers’ attention that commu- nity health care nurses do not play their roles in health education that they should do.

Abstract:Objective: To explore health education status among community nurses. Methods: One hundred and forty-two nurses in Haidian and Xicheng District in Beijing were investigated by self-designed questionnaire using convenient sampling, Results: About 95.1% of community nurses thought health education was important. About 90.2% of community nurses were willing to take health education positively. The factors affecting community nurses to take health education were limited professional knowledge (53.8%). no enthusiasm for community residents to participate (43.7%), no convenient and practical health education reference books (42.3%). The difficults that the community nurses confronted with were the organizing and atmosphere controling at the activity scene (58.5%), choosing and applying educational methods (17.6%), organizing community residents to participate in activities (16.9%).Conclusion: Community nurses carry out health education very positively, but they lack the practical skills of health education. Further training is needed to improve their health education ability.

Abstract:Objective: To analyze the research hotspots and trends of nursing scenario simulation teaching at home and abroad, and to provide reference for future nursing talent education. Methods: CNKI and Web of Science databases were searched. From the establishment of the database to April 2022, relevant literature on nursing scenario simulation teaching research at home and abroad was retrieved, and Cite Space software was used for visual analysis. Results: The research focus on China was the application and application effect of nursing scenario simulation teaching. The research hotspots abroad are the quality evaluation, reliability and influence of nursing scenario simulation teaching. Conclusion: The research and development of nursing scenario simulation teaching gradually tend to be systematic.

Abstract:Objective:To probe into the cognition status quo of nursing staff toward evidence-based nursing and its related factors influencing nursing staff with bachelor degree or above in Shanghai area to carry out evidence-based nursing.Methods:A total of 722 clinical nurses with bachelor degree or above from 13 tertiary hospitals and 2 two-grade hospitals in Shanghai were asked to fill out questionnaire,which is focusing on nurses’ knowledge,cognitive status and its related factors on evidence-based nursing.Results:Among all nurses,93.2% of them heard of "evidence-based nursing",68.1% nurses comprehended "evidence-based nursing".And 56.2% nurses considered that it was necessary for them to take evidence-based nursing training continuously and systematically;There were many factors influencing nursing staff to carry out evidence-based nursing practice,which including inadequate subjective ability and lack of understanding on evidence-based nursing of nurses,limitation on quality of current studies and objective condition.Conclusion:It is very urgent to unfold training courses on evidence-based nursing education and to design a suitable education training plan for clinical nursing staff with bachelor degree or above.To carry out evidence-based nursing education training for clinical nursing staff with bachelor degree or above has important significance.

Abstract:Objective:This study aimed to explore the cognition,attitude and appli-cation of evidence-based nursing for clinical nurses. Methods:100 nurses in a general hospital completed a self-designed questionnaire regarding the cognition,attitude and application of evidence-based nursing. Results:The nurses with different educational backgrounds and professional titles had statistical and significant differences(P<0.05) in their understandings and application of evidence-based nursing. Conclusion:The educational background is one of the most important factors which affect the quality of evidence-based nursing.

Status Quo of Nursing English Learning among Nurses from Surgical Departments in Some Grade A Class Three Hospital in Beijing

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the status quo of nursing English learning in recent 6 months among nurses from surgical department of some grade A class three hospital in Beijing and probe into the countermeasures. Methods A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the conditions about nursing English learning by random sampling among 200 nurses from some grade A class three hospital in Beijing. 178 pieces of questionnaire were collected. Results In recent half a year, the nurses spent 122.4 min/week on written nursing English learning, 66 min/week on oral nursing English learning and 36.2 min/week on self-regulated learning ave-ragely. 52.8% of them mastered vocabulary of 50~100 nursing professional terms. In practical work, 57.3% of them could understand utterance in nursing English by 0~20%, 60.7% could express themselves in nursing English by 0~20%, and 55.1% could read nursing English by 0~20%. The correlative factors affecting their nursing English learning included their college English level, workload, age, learning interest, learning atmosphere and so on. Conclusion Ward nurses have poor English basic knowledge and limited learning energy. The nursing administration should make pertinent arrangement to promote their self-regulated learning of nursing English.

Abstract:Objective To investigate nursing staff’s cognition and practice of evidence-based nursing, explore improvement measures, and promote the development of evidence-based nursing in our country. Method The questionnaire survey was conducted in a three level of first-class hospital with stratified-cluster sampling method. Result① There were statistical differences among different levels of education (x2=13.028, P0.01) or different technical titles (x2=10.468, P0.05) of people in understanding of evidence-based nursing. Nurses with higher education and higher title had more awareness of evidence-based nursing. ②Some big barriers in using research evidence in practice were unable to understand statistical principles; lack of enough time for related research; the results were not generalization to expand and research reports were published in English, therefore difficult to understand. ③The effective facilitators in using research evidence in practice were enhancing managerial support research implementation(73.0%); made study more easier to query(70.8%); provided colleagues support mechanism(70.1%). Conclusion Clinical nurses are lack in idea of evidence-based nursing, we should improve the nurses' own quality, and the management support to promote the evidence-based nursing in the development of our country.

Abstract:[Objective]This study aims to get a picture of the status quo of nursing in the countryside through investigation,to analyze existing problems and put forward some suggestions.[Methods]This study adopted surveys,field investigation,and statistical analysis.[Results]68.3% of the nurses graduated from Vocational Secondary Schools,while 10.9% had no degrees;80.5% of the nurses did not participate in out-of hospital vocational studies,99.1% did not have further education,and 13.1% of the hospitals had never organized vocational studies;31.3% of the nurses had no certificate,and 27.8% did not register;21.1% of the nurses were not in post;72.2% of the technical operations were substandard.[Conclusion]There are kinds of insecure factors in nursing in countryside hospitals.Thus,it is of great urgency to implement secure nursing measures,introduce and cultivate nursing talents and practise legally.

Abstract:Objective To clarify the existing problems in nurses' health education and to analyze the influencing factors.Methods 298 nurses from 6 hospitals in Jiangsu Province were investigated by cluster sampling and snowball sampling from November,2017 to January,2018.The online "Clinical Nursing Staff Health Education Questionnaire"was distributed based on the The health education time was less than their 15.0％working time in 56.8％nurses.Among them,61.4％spent 6.0％-15.0％working time on health education.There were 6.9％of nurses spending more than half of their working time on health education.The nurses' awareness of health education was mainly influenced by their professional titles(P ＜ 0.05);their attitude toward health education was mainly affected by their highest educationallevel and working hospital level(P ＜ 0.05); their professional title,first education level,highest education level,and the hospital level they worked in affected different aspects of their health education self-efficacy.Conclusions Professional title,educational background,and working hospital grade are the main factors influencing nurses' health education.In order to allow nurses to give full play to the role of health education,it is necessary to constantly improve their education levels and professional titles.

Abstract:Oblective:To investigate the status quo of continuing nursing education in the countryside hospitals and to analyse its influence factors and study the effective implementation strategies of continuing nursing education in the hospitals.Methods:A questionnaire survey,field research and statistical analysis.Results:80.5% nurses in these hospitals did not attend academic activities out of the hospitals and 99.1% did not participate in advanced learning in superior hospitals.13.1% of the hospitals never developed vocational learning.Insufficient training funds and shortage of nurse were the main reasons.Conclusion:To improve the integrate quality of the nursing personnel and the quality of nursing care in the hospitals needs to design feasible continuing nursing educational programs,increase financial support,and develop multi-channel approaches for advanced learning.
