Rectal neuroendocrine tumors：one case report and literature review

Abstract:Carcinoid is derived from neuroendocrine cells, its predilection sites of the gastrointestinal, because of lack of specific clinical symptoms and rare-ness in clinical, it is easy to misdiagnosis, and clinicians should attach great importance to it. This paper combined with one case of rectal neuroendocrine tumors, reviewed its origin, clinical features, pathologic features, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis from the literature.
