Abstract:Urinary incontinence (UI) is common in elder women. Urgency urinary incontinence(UUI) is the common type of UI. Millions of women worldwide suffer from UUI nowadays, which seriously affects the health and life quality of female patients. With the aging of population in our country, the incidence of UUI increases. With the needs of quality of life rising gradually, the diagnosis and treatment of the disease are also increasingly valued and keeping step forward. However, there is still lack of one single and effective treatment for the disease,so that comprehensive treatments are used commonly. Here we make a review about the recent progress in diagnosis and treatment about UUI in elder women.
