Abstract:Objective:To study the correlation between the level of 25-(OH)D and the commonly used inlfammatory indexes in clinic in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Methods:Selected 60 cases of rheumatoid arthritis(as a rheumatoid arthritis group) and 60 healthy adults(as a control group) and analyzed their 25-(OH) D levels. The correlation of commonly used clinical indexes such as peripheral serum rheumatoid factor,C-reactive protein and erythrocyte sedimentation rate in the rheumatoid arthritis group was analyzed using the correlation analysis ofSpearman andPearson. Results:The level of 25-(OH)D in the rheumatoid arthritis group was signiifcantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically signiifcant(P< 0.05).The levels of 25-(OH)D in peripheral blood of patients with rheumatoid arthritis were negatively correlated with erythrocyte sedimentation rate and rheumatoid factor, and no significant correlation was found with C-reactive protein.Conclusion:25-(OH)D in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis may play a dual role of assessment and prognosis.
