A Case of Ulcerative Juvenile Rectal Cancer

Abstract:This is a case of lower gastrointestinal bleeding reported by Renji Hospital of Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. During the disease course,the patient was suspected of inflammatory bowel disease or isolated rectal ulcer syndrome and was finally diagnosed as rectal mucinous adenocarcinoma. The diagnosis and treatment process of this patient is helpful to improve clinicians′understanding of the rare differential diagnosis of digestive tract diseases in adolescents and emphasize the significance of endoscopic ultrasonography and pathological biopsy.
