Abstract:Acute care surgery ( ACS) involves trauma and surgical critical care , which is operated in dif-ferent modes and mainly characterized by “general surgery mode”. An effective operation of acute care surgery mode needs a team with professional training and an appropriate management system .Through the two and half year clinical practice observation ,the ACS mode has advantages of shortening the time cost during the emergency and in -hospital treatment ,reducing complaints and improving the consistency of rescue when compared with the traditional mode .However ,the development of “acute care surgery” subject needs to well solve the problems of common devel-opment of disciplines ,talent cultivation and software and hardware building .
