Study on application of case database combined with human patient simulator mode in orthopaedic practice

Abstract:Objective The teaching efficiency of case database combined with human patient simulator mode in clinical practice of orthopaedics teaching was discussed.Methods Sixty-five-year undergraduate students interning in orthopedics were selected as the research models,and were randomly divided into the normal group and the experimental group.Students in the normal group were taught with traditional teaching mode,while students in the experimental group were taught with case database combined with hunan patient simulator mode.Then the teaching efficiency of two groups was compared.Results The scores in theory examination results,case analysis ability,evaluation and operation skills perforrance analysis of experimental group were significantly higher than those of normal group (P ＜0.01).The degree of satisfaction on courses in the experimental group was 100％,significantly higher than that of the normal group,which was just 66.7％ (P ＜0.001);the degree of satisfaction in the experimental group on students'learning was 90.0％,significantly higher than that of the normal group,which was 60.0％ (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion The mode of case database combined with human patient simulator in orthopaedic clinical practice teaching is superior to the traditional teaching mode,which can obviously improve the teaching quality.
