Abstract:Objective To observe 1-year retrospective clinical results of directional atherectomy com-bined with drug-coated balloon angioplasty (DADOB) in treating femoropopliteal arteriosclerosis occlusive disease. Methods From January 2017 to June 2018, ,42 patients (50 limbs) suffering stenosis or occlusion of femoropopliteal artery were treated with DADOB technology. The clinical data of these patients at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months after operation was analysed . Results The 6-month and 12-month follow-up rates were 100% and 95.24% (40 patients). The mean ±SD length of treated segments was (18.6 ±6.3) cm. According to peak systolic velocity rate (PSVR>2.4 as restenosis), 1-month, 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month restenosis rates were 0% (0 limb), 0% (0 limb), 4% (2 limbs), and 8.34% (4 limbs) respectively. The target-lesion revascularization rates at 6-month and 12-month were 0% (0 limb) and 2.08% (1 limb), while limb salvage rates at 6 months and 12 months were both 100%. Conclusion In 1-year term, DADOB for femoropopliteal arteriosclerosis occlusive disease is one recommendable method for it's satisfactory security and efficiency.
