Abstract:Objective:To observe clinically therapeutic effect and adverse reaction of CM - Na(sodium glyci-didazole)combined with radiotherapy on the aged locoregionally advanced cervical cancer(ADCC). Methods:Fifty cases of ADCC in FIGO stage Ib2 - Ⅳ were divided into trial group(n = 30,CM - Na plus radiotherapy)and control group(n = 20,radiotherapy). The trial group was treated with CM - Na(800 mg / m2 in 100 ml normal saline iv within 30 min on monday, wednesday and friday every week till the end of the radiotherapy, after which radiotherapy was ad-ministered within 60 min). The control group only took radiotherapy. To observe therapeutic effect and adverse reac-tion of two groups. Results:Complete respond rate(CR)of the trial group was higher than that of the control group's. The differences in CR were statistically significant(P < 0. 05)between the two groups. The 1 -,2 - year OS rates of trial group were 100%,95. 24%,and the rates in control group were 100%,92. 31%,with no statistical difference(P> 0. 05). The 1 - ,2 - ,year PFS rates of trial group were 96. 29%,89. 87%,and the rates in control group were 94. 73%,73. 08%,but with no statistical difference(P > 0. 05). The adverse reaction incidence was of no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0. 05). Conclusion:Compared the only radiotherapy group,CM - Na combined with radiotherapy for ADCC may improve the overall complete remission rate without an increase in toxicity. However, its long - term effect remains to be further studies.
