Abstract:Objective:To explore pathogen distribution and risk factors causing lower respiratory tract infections on chemotherapy patients with lung cancer and to contribute to prevention of lower respiratory tract infections.Methods:461 cases of lung cancer patients from January 2011 to January 2016 were enrolled in the study.ATB bacterial identification instrument was used to isolate bacterial. The multivariate logistic regression model was established to explore possible influencing factors. Results:The lower respiratory tract infection occurred in 196 patients(42.5%).A total of 212 non-repetitive bacterial isolates were collected. The amount of gram-negative was 138 (65.1%),the number of gram-positive was 51 (24.1%).The multivariate logistic regression model indicated that smoke history, age above 60 years, invasive procedure, days of hospitalization above 20 d,high stage of lung cancer and antibiotic prophylaxis were independent risk factors. Conclusion:The rate of lower respiratory tract infection was high in lung cancer patients. The gram-negative bacteria was the predominant pathogenic bacteria. It was necessary to reasonably use antibiotics based on the distribution of pathogen and strengthen the monitoring of high-risk patients to reduce infection rate.
