Abstract:Objective:To study the imaging characteristics of Ewing's sarcoma,and to improve understanding of the tumor. Methods:The imaging findings of 21 cases of Ewing's sarcomas confirmed by pathology were analysed. Re-sults:The site of tumor:pelvis(14 cases),femur(3 cases),tibia(1 case),spine(1 case),scapula(1 case)and one is extra - skeletal. Most cases(18 cases)showed osteolytic bone destruction,with ill - defined borders,and bone expan-sion in 6 cases,1 case showed osteosclerosis. Soft tissue involvement in 19 cases,periosteal reaction in 10 cases,path-ological fracture in 1 case,the extra - skeletal lesion showed marked soft tissue but without bone destruction. Conclu-sion:Imaging appearance of Ewing's sarcoma is various,but it has some characteristics. X - ray plain film,CT and MRI have advantage.
