Treatment of primary liver cancer with alcohol injection

Abstract:Objective　To study the effects of ethanol injection for treatment of primary liver cancer.Methods　Eighty seven patients of primary liver cancer received 573 times of percutaneous injection of ethanol guide by B-ultrasound or CT.Results　6 months, 1 and 2 year survival rates, were respectively 95.4%，78.3%，47.7%. The main symptoms of abdominal pain and appetite were straightened up obviously. Conclusion　This method is effective for the patients with small primary hepatocellular carcinoma.
