Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of amisulpride in first-episode schizophrenia patients and its influence on their blood lipids, thyroid hormone levels. Methods 70 patients with first-episode schizophrenia from January 2014 to December-2016 in the hospital were selected and randomly divided into control group (n=35) and observation group (n=35). The control group were given risperidone, observation group were treated with amisulpride, The clinical curative effect and their blood lipids and thyroid hormone levels in two groups were compared. ResultsAfter 8 weeks of treatment, the clinical response rate in observation group (94.29%) washigher than that (91.43%) in the control group (P>0.05). The levels of TC, TG, HDL and LDL in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The level of T3, T4, FT3 and FT4 in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The level of TSH in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Patients with first-episode schizophrenia treated with sulforaphane and risperidone were effective, but ampicillin had little effect on blood lipid and thyroid hormone levels.
