Abstract:Epilepsy is a common neurological disease,seriously impairing the quality of patients' life.Pharmacological treatment is still the first therapeutical strategy in almost 30％ patients developing refractory epilepsy.With new insights into the underlying mechanisms of epilepsy,and the progress of traditional antiepileptic drugs in recent years,many new antiepileptic drugs or medicine with antiepileptic efficacy are now available.New antiepileptic drugs sorted by underlying mechanism are introduced,and new drug targets that have anti-epileptic effect are also involved.
