Abstract:Objective To evaluate diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT venography(MSCTV)in detecting venous thrombosis of lower extremity.Methods We investigated 28 patients with highly suspected deep venous thrombosis for MSCTV,of which 10 cases of direct imaging method,indirect imaging method in 18 cases,5 cases successively underwent angiography direct and indirect imaging method.After the case is scanned and processed to obtain the raw data transmitted to the workstation via a three-dimension-al reconstruction of blood vessels,resulting in a clear and satisfactory diagnostic images,summarizes imaging findings,combined with digital subtraction angiography (DSA)were analyzed.Results Among 28 patients,there were 9 cases in normal,1 9 cases of deep vein thrombosis,thrombosis of lower extremity vein in 1 9 cases(lefe in 10,right in 7,both in 2 cases),and deep vein throm-bosis can be clearly detected,meeting the equirements to the diagnosis of scope and size of the lesion site.DSA as the gold standard, MSCTV deep venous thrombosis with a sensitivity of 95% and a specificity of 100%.Conclusion MSCTV may be used as the first choice in diagnosing venous thrombosis of the lower extremity.
