Abstract:OBJECTIVE To introduce the training process and practice of pharmacokinetics (PK) service in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC),and to provide a reference for the PK service development in China.METHODS Guiding of senior anti-infective pharmacists was utilized to learn how to provide PK service in pharmacists daily work and the PK service training process.RESULTS PK service had been conducted in 10 hospitals of UPMC,which contributed well to the rational use of antibiotics.CONCLUSION The mature PK service of UPMC is worth studying and popularizing in China.
