Analysis of the lipophilic constituents of the roots of Heracleum dissectum by GC-MS

Abstract:Objective To analyze the lipophilic constituents of the roots of Heracleum dissectum .Methods The lipophilic constitu-ents were analyzed by GC-MS method and the relative content of components was determined by a peak area normalization meth-od .Results Thirty-three compounds were identified by GC-MS from the roots of Heracleum dissectum ,in which 19 compounds were identified from the petroleum ether fraction and 14 compounds were identified from the ethyl actate fraction . Conclusions The main lipophilic components in the roots of Heracleum dissectum were long chain alcohols ,sterols and couma-rins .
