Effect of chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans on the repair of nerve system injury

Abstract:Chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans ( CSPGs) is one kind of proteins that covalently bind with chondroitin sulfate.CSPGs play important roles in the growth and development of the central nervous system and the pathological reaction of nervous injury.This article reviews the functional and mechanism studies of CSPGs in the repair of nerve system injury.
