Abstract:Objective To investigate the health service demand,supply and utilization in floating population of Shenzhen city and explore a suitable service model and health safeguard mechanism.Methods Based upon research established worldwide about health services for mobile population, in this survey, stratified sampling of mobile population in Shenzhen city was conducted, from which the information about the health service demand, utilization and current situation of community health services was collected, afterward, the analysis was processed both quantitively and qualitatively. Results In weak position was the current situation of the mobile population in the utilization of community health services, the utilization is low despite of the high demand by these people. Two-week prevalence rate was high as 19.1%; as many as 41.4% mobile population had no idea about centers of community health services; even more(87.6%) don't remember CHS's phone number, out of 7.7% of mobile population who establish their health files in CHSs, only 1.5% had contracted officially. Conclusion Efforts will be concentrated on updating people's idea, enhancing the government management, all efforts and services being oriented to the floating population's actual demands, so as to establish an appropriate CHS mode.
