Research progress on development of health industry in foreign countries

Abstract:As an newly-rising industry, the development of health industry has broad prospects and huge market po-tential. This paper firstly defines the connotation of health industry, then describes the current situation of the develop-ment of health industry in USA, Britain, Japan and India, analyzes the characteristics of these countries by comparing their development of health industry. Through this analysis, we can find the development of health industry needs the support of policy. It should conform to national reality and stress the key point while making integrated development, focus on advocacy to appeal the whole society to participate; focus on innovation to enhance research capacity;focus on the social investment to achieve diversified development. This study is to provide reference for the layout and develop-ment of health industry in our country.
