Application effect of collaborative care model on canal nursing in depart-ment of emergency

Abstract:Objective To observe the application effect of collaborative care model (CCM) on canal nursing in depart-ment of emergency. Methods 240 patients with tubes admitted to the department of emergency in our hospital from January to December in 2013 were selected.They were evenly divided into control group and experimental group based on the sequence of being hospitalized,with 120 cases in each group.The control group was provided conventional nurs-ing,while in the experimental group,on the basis of the conventional nursing,CCM was applied for intervention.After in-tervention,rate of unplanned extubation,awareness rate of tube’s name and precautions for use,incidence of canal ad-verse event and patient’s satisfaction in two groups was compared. Results After nursing intervention,the pipeline nurs-ing quality in experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group,the difference was significant(P<0.05).Patient’s satisfaction was increased most which was 75% in the control group and 91.7% in the experimental group.The second place was awareness rate of tube’s name and precautions for use,which was increased from 80% to 90%.Rate of unplanned extubation was decreased from 16.7% to 5% and the incidence of canal adverse event was de-creased from 15% to 8.3%. Conclusion CCM obtains a great effect on canal nursing in department of emergency.It not only improves the quality of canal nursing,also reflects the professional nurse’s self-worth,and increases patient’s satis-faction as well,which is worthy of promotion in clinical.
