Research Progress of Chromatin Modifying Factors in Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells Reprogram-ming

Abstract:Induced pluripotent stem cells(iPSCs) have wide application prospect in regeneration medi-cine because of its unique advantages.In recent years,a series of studies have discovered the chromatin modi-fying factors play indispensible roles both in stemness maintaining and somatic cell reprogramming process .In reprogramming process,inhibiting some chromatin modifying enzymes can improve the reprogramming effi-ciency,while knockdown or knockout of the chromatin modifying factors would result in retardation or failure of reprogramming process.Here is to make a review of the characteristics and mechanism of recently disco-vered chromatin modifying factors which play important roles in the process of iPSCs reprogramming .
