An Evidence-based Evaluation for Earthquake Medical Rescue Studies:a Systematic Review for Chinese and English ;Literatures from 2008 to 2013

Abstract:Objective Evaluated the status of earthquake related clinical research from China. Methods Based on the principles and process of evidence-based medicine systematic review, we established a systematical research standard and strategy to search the literatures on 6 chinese and english medical journals databases. According to the standard literature search process, we used the qualitative analysis to screen and evaluate quality of these studies’ methods and contents. Results Through the sys-tematical research on the databases, we got 165 literatures meted study inclusion criteria. There were 165 literatures included, 11 (6. 67%) studieswith the significant Methodological and/or statistical error, 128 ( 77. 58%) descriptive researches and 20 (12. 12%) studies with the smaller samples or only case report. After the quality systematical review, we got 6 high quality litera-tures at all. Conclusion From 2008 to 2012 Chinese authors used to issue many descriptive researches. The Chinese literatures were decreasing after 2009 but the English literatures were increasing year by year. And most of literatures were lacking of deep data analysis, data mining or creative study. Based on these evidences, we suggested our authors couldfocus on the data analysi-sand quality control, and keep the attention closely on the earthquake clinical study not only the English Journals but also the do-mestic Chinese Journals.
