Study on Clinical Comprehensive Intervention in Improving the Retention Rate of Sputum Specimen of Inpatients in Department of Respiration

Abstract:Objective:To study and observe the effect of clinical comprehensive intervention in improving the retention rate of sputum specimen of inpatients in Department of Respiration.Method:A total of 200 inpatients in department of respiration from September 2013 to June 2014 were selected as the research objects,and they were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,100 cases in each group,then the control group was intervened with conventional intervention,the observation group was intervened with clinical comprehensive intervention.The patients and their families’awareness of sputum specimen retention knowledge,patients’ compliance and correct rates of retention method before and after the intervention,satisfaction degree of all aspects of two groups were analyzed and compared.Result:The patients and their families’awareness of sputum specimen retention knowledge,patients’compliance and correct rates of retention method two groups before intervention had no significant differences(P>0.05),the patients and their families’awareness of sputum specimen retention knowledge,patients’compliance and correct rates of retention method,satisfaction degree of all aspects of the observation group after intervention were all higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Theeffect of clinical comprehensive intervention in improving the retention rate of sputum specimen of inpatients in Department of Respiration is better,and it has active clinical significance for the improvement of patients and their families’awareness,it is widely welcomed and affirmed.
