Abstract:Objective: To know the management status quo of ethical review of pediatric clinical trials .Methods:To investigate the qualifi-cations, the basic situation of ethics committees, the establishment of ethical review standard and the development of ethical review of pediatric clinical trials by questionnaire survey in 34 third class A hospitals in Shanghai.Results:The lagging standardized management of ethical review of pediatric clinical trials led to many problems, such as different standards in management requirements of ethics committees, different standards and requirements in ethical review of pediatric clinical trials in different hospitals.Conclusion: Pediatric clinical trials should be given more at-tention.To establish special requirements for the construction and management of ethics committees.To establish training requirements for ethical standards of clinical trials universally covered vulnerable groups.The special norms about ethical review of pediatric clinical trials should be im-proved.
