Microglia mediated inflammation in alzheimer's disease research progress

Abstract:Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common types of dementia, its pathological features include:amyloid plaque deposition, nerve fiber tangles, loss of neurons and neural inflammation, etc. Recently, more and more studies suggest that nerve inflammation in the pathogenesis of AD plays a key role. This paper reviews the microglia mediated inflammation of the nerve in the role of the AD, and the regulating mechanism in the phenotype of microglia.
